This report written by Jakob Kirkemann Boesen & Tomas Martin for The Danish Institute for Human Rights is an excellent look at the operationalization of the rights-based approach to development. My own work looks to practical ways in which to put rights-based approaches into practice at the grassroots (please see the Rights for Marginalised People post in April 2008). I particularly liked the ideas suggested for monitoring and evaluating a rights-based approach. The report is available here.
